This park is mostly a deciduous forest with a few pines.  The landscape is mostly comprised of these trees in a mountainous setting.

    There are numerous waterfalls in this park.  Some can be seen with a short hike, others are much longer hikes; I have a few from both.

    A lot of the time the sky has cloud cover.  This can sometimes enhance the sunset or dilute it due to an abundance of clouds.

    The Smoky Mountains receive a lot of rain throughout the year.  This makes it easy to photograph streams and rivers.
