Favorite Hikes: Cascade Canyon/Surprise Lake

Grand Teton National Park is one of the youngest mountain ranges in North America and one of the fastest growing ranges in the world.  The beauty of this park is found in the different lighting situations that can change a peak.  Birding is also something that can be enjoyed along the Snake River especially at Oxbow Bend.

Favorite Hikes: Mount Washburn/Geyser Basins

Yellowstone National Park is one of the best places to observe geo-thermal activity in motion.  Along with the scenery, there is an abundance of wildlife.  Bison can be found almost anywhere in the park and with some patience, a variety of birds can be spotted.

Favorite Hikes:  Mount Hoffmann/Sunrise HS Camp

Yosemite National Park is by far my favorite park.  I have been coming to this park since i was very young.  It offers a wide variety of scenery including some of the most magnificent views in the entire country.  There are many spots of this park that one will never see in their lifetime unless you are willing to hike.
Denali National Park

Denali National Park is home to the largest mountain in North America, Mount McKinley, standing over twenty thousand feet.  McKinley is also known as Denali to the natives of the area.  The mountainous terrain and river valleys are rich with wildlife making it a great destination for those who like encounters with wildlife.

Wrangle-St. Elias National Park

Wrangle-St. Elias National Park and Preserve is the largest National Park in the United States.  Mount St. Elias is the tallest mountain in the park located at the southern end of the park and it stands at over eighteen thousand feet.  There are many species of wildlife that can be found here making it an ideal location for a preserve.

Glacier Bay National Park

Glacier Bay National Park is located northwest of Juneau, Alaska along the outermost inlets along the coast.  This park has gone through significant changes over the past several decades.  The glaciers used to nearly cover the entire park in the early twentieth century.  Many of these glaciers are now rapidly receeding.
Pinnacles National Monument

Pinnacles is an interesting park.  It is one of the only places you will find California Condors.  It is also a park created by a fault line that has displaced the mountains 150 miles north of origin.
