These lighthouse photos were all taken at twilight or during the night.  Several different techniques were used to display a few special effects.  These timed exposures range from 23 seconds up to 1 minute and 7 seconds.  The clouds help to lighten up the scenes.

    Shooting during the night can be very challanging.  It is difficult to focus and choose an exposure due to the limited light.  Many times there is some trial and error involved.  These pictures were taken with a timed exposure ranging from 30 seconds to 10 minutes.

    Flowers are not something I specialize in; however, they can be a very interesting subject.  Spring is the best time to find wildflowers along trails while hiking.  There are a wide variety of flowers and the types change typically with altitude.
